Baku – APA-Economics. The level of jobless in Russia decreased by 0.3 percentage point to 6.6% in September, 2010, Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) informed.
According to Rosstat after the decrease the level of jobless slid to 5 000 000 persons. Totally, the level of jobless decreased by 12.8% compared with the same period of 2009. The level of jobless was 9.2% and number of jobless persons was 6 840 000, in January, 2010.
The total number of officially registered jobless people has fallen by 1.9 per cent (29,520 persons) in Russia over the week from October 7 to October 13, an official at the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development said.
