Level in Mingachevir dam raises

The maximal level in the dam is 83 m and there left 58 centimeters to reach this level, director of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Elnar Sultanov told APA. To him, the level in Araz river is invariable – 777,77 m. Water volume is 530 cubic meters/second in the Araz dam and 745 cubic meters/second in the Mingachevir sam.

Speaking about continuation of rains in the country until May 16, Sultanov noted it was expected water level raising in the outfall of Kura.

The weather will stabilize in the country after May 16. Nevertheless, high water will continue in the branches of Kura and Araz, as well as in mountain rivers.
