Acting Director of National Hydrometeorology Department Bureau of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Umayra Tagiyeva told APA. She said that the weather will be gloomy from February 11 till February 14, precipitation is forecasted in eastern regions. It will sleet, snow in the mountainous regions.
According to Umayra Tagiyeva, though the weather will be unstable, the severe cold will not be observed.
“-4 C was recorded in the capital at the end of last week. This week the temperature will be 1… 3 C in the afternoon, 0 C at night. It will mainly rain in the capital. But it is predicted to sleet in some places of the capital and Absheron peninsula in the morning and evening,†she said.
Umayra Tagiyeva said unlike February 5-6, strong wind is not forecasted. The wind speed will be 9-14m/s, sometimes 17m/s.
