Baku – APA. There is no disruption in traffic towards the Siniq Korpu customs post on the border between Azerbaijan and Georgia, said Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ministry said there are media reports that traffic movement on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border was delayed due to the adverse weather dominating in Georgia.

The ministry noted that drivers faced difficulties at the Mazynchay border checkpoint towards the Lagodekhi district due to heavy snowball.

A special rescue group was created to ensure smooth traffic in this area, the ministry added.

Azerbaijani citizens are recommended to call up Georgia’s relevant bodies (112) or the ministry (+(+99412)5123915).
