Azerbaijan Railways CJSC calls on pedestrians to obey security rules

Baku. Vusal Nabiyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has called on the pedestrians.

According to CJSC, KISS electric double-decker trains produced by Stadler Rail Group have been put into operation on Baku-Sumgayit line for comfortable, speedy and safe carriage of passengers.

In order to increase speed of Baku-Sumgayit trains, preventive measures are being taken, fencing works are being carried out.

Sometimes, the citizens living in the areas near the routes of Baku-Sumgayit trains, cross the prohibited zones and endanger their life and prevent safe movement of the trains. These cause delay in movement of the trains. Therefore, the pedestrians should not forget that they should:

- cross the railways only through determined places (bridges, tunnels, crossings and places with the sign of passage “from rail way”).

- not cross the railway if the distance to the train is less than 400 m.

- not to get on the rails, stay and sit on it.

- not to put anything on the railways which endangers the trains.

“As Azerbaijan Railway CJSC, we call on citizens to approach to this issue more responsible and obey the rules”, CJSC said.
