Azerbaijan to sign cooperation agreements in customs sphere with some more countries

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan is preparing to sign agreements on cooperation in the customs sphere with the countries of South America, Croatia, Kuwait and Qatar. Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev says the main purpose of international agreements - to further develop cooperation in this field between the two countries, and at the same time to help with legal issues.
“That is, if there are violations of customs regulations, smuggling, the cooperating countries are considered to be assisted in this sphereâ€.
Aliyev said that at present, a similar agreement signed with more than 40 countries: “The last agreement in this area, we have today signed with Macedonia. Prior to that, we signed an agreement with Israelâ€.
