Azerbaijan to launch 3 domestic flights

To him, currently, only Baku-Nakhchivan, Baku-Ganja, Nakhchivan-Ganja flights are implemented: â€œWe are planning to restore flights from Baku to Lankaran and Zagatala and launch flight to Gabalaâ€.

At present, Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku flights are implemented 4 times in a week, Baku-Ganja-Baku â€“ every day, Nakhchivan-Ganja â€“ on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Price of single ticket from Baku to Nakhchivan for Azerbaijani citizens is AZN 50, for foreign citizens â€“ AZN 65. Price of Baku-Ganja flight is AZN 30 without regard to citizenship of passengers and finally price of Nakhchivan flight makes AZN 39.

Due to seasonal factor, implementation of flights on Baku-Zagatala and Baku-Lankaran routes has been sustained by AZAL. Nevertheless, at present, Russiaâ€™s UTair airlines realize flights from Lankaran to Moscow. As to ticket price of Baku-Lankaran and Baku-Zagatala routes, it makes AZN 41 and AZN 52, respectively.

Speaking about ticket price of Baku-Gabala flight, Safarli said that the price would be determined by the Tariff Council. Note that, at present, all domestic flights are implemented by ATR airliner of French manufacture.

Remind that, regional airports of Azerbaijan realize international flights, too. That is, flights are implemented from Lankaran to Moscow, from Nakhchivan to Istanbul, from Ganja to St. Petersburg.
