Azerbaijan and Romania expanding cooperation in ICT sector

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Communication and Information Technologies Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov has met Romanian Presidentâ€™s Counselor for Safety Issues Julian Fota staying with official visit in Baku.

The Ministry reports that at the meeting the sides discussed the issues of experience sharing in ICT and investment drawing sphere. Abbasov noted that in recent years cooperation in ICT sphere between Azerbaijan and Romania enlarged on the background of common ICT sector development of Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that UTI and Sweco companies will occupy proper place at local market. He noted that within mutual cooperation Azerbaijan will get access to the world market.

In turn Y. Fota noted that introduction of Azerbaijani ICT production at the Romanian market will promote to their access to European markets and stressed importance of cooperation strengthening in cyber safety provision.
