Special rules on usage of communication in case of emergence situation approved in Azerbaijan

According to APA-Economics, these rules regulate all telecommunication and postal communication operators during the emergency situation.

According to rules, general-purposed telecommunication networks are managed by Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.

Telecommunication operators and providers must meet the demands of government, as well, Ministries of Defence, National Security and Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations and other state bodies.,

Besides, according to rules, the communication facilities of enterprises, organizations and public unities may be given to MES.

Subscribers and users must allow the employees of police, ambulance chaser, MES and other bodies to use their phones without obstacle.

In case of emergency situation, Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies can limit the activity of communication networks temporarily. Besides, connection of telecommunication networks of individuals and legal entities to general-purposed telecommunication networks can be banned.

According to rules, firstly, special card-index subscribers can use the communication services during the emergency situation. List of these persons will compiled by MCIT twice in a year and sent to national operator of postal communication and communication enterprises.

Humanitarian aids also can be transported via post during the emergency situation.

MCIT and MES establish necessary material reserves and hold the communicational equipments in a good condition.
