Over 1 km high building to be constructed in Azerbaijan

That is, the height of “Azerbaijan Tower†to be built within the framework of the project will be more than 1 km, which means the highest building in the world.
President of the Concern Haji Ibrahim Nehramli says the height of new building will be 1,050 m. So, “Azerbaijan Tower†will be 200 m higher than the tallest building in the world - Burj Khalifa, 50 m than Kingdom Tower, to be built in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Note that, the number of floors of Azerbaijan Tower in the former lay-outs was 185, height – 560 m. But later, the company’s leadership decided to change the project and to construct the world’s tallest building in Baku.
Leadership of Avesta Concern has already held discussion with the companies that implemented the construction of Burj Khalifa. Nehramli says the construction will start within the II phase of Khazar Island and commissioned in 2018-2019.
