Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Currently, major telecommunications companies of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, China and Russia are discussing two major routes on launching new main cable line.
The Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Iltimas Mammadov says one of the cables - the main southern route considers launching of cable through the territory of China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Eastern Europe and Germany, and the second - Reserve Northern route - through China, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Poland and Germany: “Geographic diversification of the abovementioned routes ensures high reliability in line with the requirements of international main communication. The next meeting of participants of the project is planned for early May this year in Budapest (Hungary)â€.
