Two newly-constructed buildings not meeting security demands destroyed in Azerbaijan

To him, one of these buildings was constructed in Sumgayit and during technical investigation it was revealed that they did not meet demands of security. Besides, it was determined that these shortcomings could not be eliminated by additional strengthening works. As a result, Emergency Situations Ministry appealed the court in this regard and decision was passed on destruction of the building.

The second is the building of Mutaffakir MTK. Asadov reminded that one of the buildings of this company crashed down as a result of the violations. 25 persons died during that incident. The investigations determined that the situation is miserable in two more blocks too. The building was danger for the life of its residents, that is why it was destroyed under the court decision. New one is being constructed on its place. That building will be soon handed over to persons - former residents of the destroyed buildingâ€, he added.
