Students of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy listened lecture on solid waste management

Baku - APA-Economics. Tamiz Shahar continues to conduct outreach activities to raise awareness in the field of solid waste management.

The next educational event was held in early December at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. Employees of the department of environmental protection of Tamiz Shahar read a lecture on management of solid waste to a second-year students and masters.

During the lecture, members of OJSC told the students about municipal solid waste as a form of waste, the terminology of this area, the concept of ecological solid waste management, as well as about Balakhani Waste-to-Energy Plant.

It should be noted that it is already the third year Tamiz Shahar and the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy hold events to educate and form of environmental education among the younger generation. It is planned to continue and expand this cooperation.
