Minister Ali Abbasov: â€œAll measures have been taken for protection of Azerbaijanâ€™s teleradio etherâ€

According to him, Azerbaijan reviews two issues on TV broadcasting ether with neighbour countries: â€œOne of these is technical, other â€“ publicity of information. There is small TV broadcasting from Iran. Azerbaijani TV channels are broadcasted in Iranâ€™s certain part. These issues were discussed during the visit of head of Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov to Iran. There is no sense to struggle against this in boundary regions. But, agitational broadcastings are unacceptableâ€.

He noted that, monitoring is held per year in the boundary regions: â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s private channels donâ€™t fulfil the obligations. We send out proposals on the results of monitoring to National Tele Radio Councilâ€.

Abbasov stressed that, according top information, Azerbaijan and Iran would sign a boundary regulation protocol on broadcasting of tele radio: â€œThere are technical protocols between two countries, but sometimes it needs to go beyond this. Therefore, new protocols are needed to signâ€.
