Azerbaijan increases machine and equipment production by 14%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-October, 2011, the production of machine and equipments, transport facilities, automobiles was upper AZN 141.2 mln or 13.9% than previous year.

State Statistical Committee says production of machine and equipment rose 18.2%, automobile â€“ 12.3%: â€œIn January-October, 2011, 632 Lorries, and 352 Lifan cars were produced in Azerbaijan, up 17.7% and down 18% from a year earlierâ€.

As of November 1, 2011, AZN 30.5 mln-finished products remained in the storehouses of these enterprises, up 28.2% in comparison to a year ago.
