According to APA-Economics citing to Tariff Council, passenger transportation service tariffs in Baku Metro were also considered at the latest meeting of Tariff Council: “As it known, Perspective Development Plan of Baku Metro was developed for improvement of passenger transportation system and reduction of traffic tension. Plan covers increase of length of lines and number of stations in Baku, by 2030. Cheap tariff policy in accordance to social purposes was considered as priority and fare in Baku Metro made AZN 0.20â€.
New tariffs are lower than other CIS countries and other neighbour states.
