Azerbaijanâ€™s Council on Cosmic Issues holds meeting â€“ <font color=red>PHOTO </font>

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. Council on Cosmic Issues held next meeting at the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan, Communications and IT ministry told APA.

Chairman of the council Arif Pashayev, minister of communication and IT, academician Ali Abbasov, minister of ecology and natural resources Huseyngulu Baghirov, chairman of Higher Attestation Commission under President of AR Arif Mehdiyev, AZAL President Jahangir Asgarov, Chairman of the State Committee of Land and Cartography of Azerbaijan Garib Mammadov, chief of international relations department of Finance Ministry Ulvi Seyidzadeh, chairman of Azerkosmos Rashad Nabiyev, director of National Aerocosmic Agency Alchin Shirinzadeh, head of the ministryâ€™s State Enterprises Coordination Department Mirheydar Ismayilov and technical director of â€œTeleradioâ€ Production Association of the Ministry of Communication and IT Mikail Abbasov attended the meeting.

Chairman of Council on Cosmic Issues Arif Pashayev noted that, launch of first telecommunication satellite would be important for the country and recommended about the works.

Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov informed about the works on fulfillment of â€œState Program on establishment and development of cosmic industry in Azerbaijan Republicâ€, preparation and launch of telecommunication satellite, registration and coordination of orbital position.

Azerkosmos Chairman Rashad Nabiyev spoke about the contracts with US Orbital Sciences Corporation, Malaysian â€œMeasatâ€ and French â€œArianespaceâ€ companies.

Head of Council Secretariat on Cosmic Issues Mirheydar Ismayilov spoke about the international cooperation, importance of joining the international organizations and conventions.
