Embassy: Black box Azerbaijani plane crashed in Afghanistan and dead bodies of crew members have not been found yet

To him, representatives of Afghanistanâ€™s government noted that the rescue team had arrived at the site: â€œBlack box of the aircraft and dead bodies of crew members have not been found yet. At present, intensive works are continued at the site of the accidentâ€.

Note that, earlier, a representative of the movement "Taliban" Zabibulla Modzhahid told Afghan media that Azerbaijani plane was shot down by Taliban.

On July 6, 2011, at about 00.10, while preparing to land in Bagram airport, the communication with IL-76 4K-AZ 55 belonging to Azerbaijanâ€™s Silk Way aviation company suddenly broke off and its view disappeared in radars. According to statement made by Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration, the aircraft collided with unknown object in the air.

Currently, commission has been created for investigation of reasons of the accident. Azerbaijani members of the commission are preparing to go to Afghanistan.
