Russian president proposes urgent retirement of Tu-134 planes

The president took part at the operative briefing of the agency on the air crash of the Tu-134 in Karelia when 45 people died.

â€œI have instructed the ministry to prepare generally forced withdrawal of the Tu-134 retirement. It’s time to make it â€œ, said Medvedev.

Note that, the main claim of the Tu-134, developed in the early 1960s in the USSR, has traditionally been related to the noise it produces. Some airports of European countries do not accept the Tu-134.
