Azerbaijan decreases production of construction materials by 42%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-May, 2011, industrial enterprise in construction materials sphere produced AZN 78.4 mln â€“ output, down 42.2% compared to a year ago.

State Statistical Committee says that 555,700 tons of cement, 43,300 tons of building plaster, 303,800 tons of ready-mixed concrete for tow, 13,700 cubic meter of team-building concrete structures, 88,100 tons of asphalt, 84,000 cubic meters of brick was produced during January-May, 2011, compared to a year ago.

As of April 1, 2011, AZN 10 mln - stock of finished goods was at the warehouses of enterprises.
