Lukashenko threatens to close Belarusian borders

Baku - APA-Economics. In case of a serious worsening of the Belarusian economic situation, the country might close its borders and stop imports, President Alexander Lukashenko told a press conference in Minsk on Friday, Kyiv Post reported.

"If there is a disaster, we will close borders and refuse imports," he said.

"Currently, we have what to eat and to wear," he said. "God forbid that we have to close borders, as we are doing now on certain groups of goods in the western and southern directions," the president added.
