Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. South Koreaâ€™s Samsung Electronics Company intends to sell 10 mln newly produced Samsung Galaxy S II smart phones, Ilya Fedotov, head of marketing department of Samsung Electronics CIS office told APA.

To him, sales volume of Samsung Galaxy S II smart phones made 10 mln in 2010. but at present, this number reached 14 mln: â€œWithin one year, we are intending to sale 10 mln new Samsung Galaxy S II smart phones, and then we want to raise this number 14-15 mlnâ€.

Fedotov said that at present, Samsung Electronics Company is carrying out works on new version of Samsung Galaxy S II smart phone. New version will be ready until the end of 2011â€.

Note that, Samsung is considered the thinnest smartphone in the world. Its thinnest makes 8.49 mm, weights â€“ 116 gr. The capacity of accumulator is 1,650 mAh and it means that, itâ€™s possible to watch the Full HD flm for 7 hours via this smart phone. The Galaxy S II is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S. It features a 1.2 GHz dual-core SoC processor, in either Samsungâ€™s own Exynos SoC (GT-i9100 model) or Nvidiaâ€™s Tegra 2 SoC (GT-i9103 model). It has 1 GB of RAM, a 10.8 cm (4.3 in) WVGA Super AMOLED plus display and an 8 megapixel camera with flash that can record videos in full high definition 1080p. Monitor of smartphone is 14% wider than Galaxy S model. Retail price of it is AZN 699.
