Georgian Minister of Economic Development meets with Azerbaijani Transport Minister

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Georgian Minister of Economic Development Vera Kobalia has met with Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov.

According to Transport Ministry, bilateral relations, extension of cooperation, join projects and other issues have been discussed at the meeting.

Z. Mammadov spoke about the Azerbaijanâ€™s development during past years, large-scale projects and the progress achieved in international integration and noted that, Azerbaijan was one of the leader countries for the economic progress and protecting of political stability.

In turn, Kobalia noted that they interested in extension o cooperation in all spheres of transport sector, including railway and motor roads.

Development of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, transportation potential of transit cargos, construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and other issues were discussed at the meeting.
