Information on shortage of some Toyota cars in Azerbaijan officially confirmed

Sales managers of the company said that it was possible to purchase Toyota Prado 4 months after the order. Marketing manager of the company Rufat Bagirov also confirmed the fact to APA-Economics. Besides, Bagirov noted that there was no problem in importing of other models of Toyota and their prices remained unchanged.

Remind that, automobile dealerships determine that as a result of quake and tsunami happened in Japan caused deficiency and price rise of some auto models. Toyota Baku Center told APA-Economics that all cars have been sold in the automobile dealership. Sales managers explain it with stopping of activities of motor plants in Japan. They say that new models of Toyota will be brought to Azerbaijan at least after 4 months. And their prices will be higher. Toyota Prado will cost AZN 37-40 000. Other models of Toyota must be purchased only by order. Nevertheless, prices of Camry and Avalon models remain unchanged.

Okean automobile dealership also confirmed the fact on price rise of Toyota Prado. They say that price of this auto rose from $44.5-45,000 to $49-51,000. Price rise was also observed in Mitsubishi cars.
