Active mobile phone users rise 14% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Active mobile phone users rose 13.6% in January-March, 2011, compared to a year ago.

According to State Statistical Committee, the 64.8% of income by communication services came from mobile phone communication and this service rose 14.4% to AZN 186.1 mln compared to a year ago: â€œNumber of phone users reached 335.4 thousand during past 3 months. As of April 1, the population had 7 200 000 active number, up 13.6% from year earlierâ€.
