According to AZAL’s vice-president Sabir Ilyasov, several international flights have been directed to Azerbaijan’s air space due to war in Libya and shutting of this country’s air space by some coalition forces.

Note that, international air companies had to change the direction of flights due to war: “The reason of this is that Azerbaijan’s location is very favourable and high services”.

According to him, number of flights to this direction increased and one of the reasons is Japan disaster.

As a result, the flights have increased by 30%, since February. AZAL gets great income from increase of flights.
