Russia begins to implement e-signature

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Russia started to implement digital signature as the appropriate law came to force on April 8. According to APA-Economics, the Russian individuals and legal entities have a right to use digital signature in the electronic documents alongside with their traditional signatures.

It can be used only in the electronic documents, but it is expected to be used mostly in the online appeals to the government agencies.

The law considers two kinds of electronic signature â€“ simple and strengthened. The strengthened one can be specialized or non-specialized. The signatures have same force and different use of them depend on the essence of the documents.
