Today, around 21:00, the staff of the "PS 173" passenger ship in the Bulla region of the Caspian Sea, 30 km from the coast, saw water leakage into the ship, "Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping" JSC (ACSS) told APA.
Dispatch service of ACSO was informed to take immediate safety measures. The nearby passenger ships "Gobustan" and "Giz Galasi" arrived at the scene. Crew members and passengers were evacuated to these ships.
Currently, there is no danger to the lives of 7 crew members and 25 passengers.
The "PS 173" ship was towed by the "Caspian Spirit" ship that came to the incident area and headed towards the coast.
