The second group of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who were sent to Turkey on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev to extinguish the fires, returned to Azerbaijan, APA's correspondent reports from Heydar Aliyev Airport.
The plane carrying 174 members of the ministry's State Fire Protection Service and Special Risk Rescue Service landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Notable 743 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took part in extinguishing forest fires in Turkey. Moreover, 97 vehicles, including 77 fire engines, 6 pump trucks, 1 refueling tank, 4 headquarters cars, 2 buses and 1 pickup, as well as auxiliary equipment, BE-200CS amphibious aircraft and 1 helicopter were involved in extinguishing forest fires in Turkey.
