During the first month of 2022, 218 persons wanted by law enforcement agencies were detained at checkpoints and handed over to the relevant authorities, APA reports citing the State Border Service (SBS).
It was noted that 265 people with a ban leaving the country were prevented from leaving the country. The SBS officers also prevented the entering of 11 people, who were banned from entering the Republic of Azerbaijan. Besides, 3 people were detained and handed over to the relevant agencies in 3 cases in connection with gross violations of the rules of the regime at the checkpoints.
