Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs continue their protests on the Shusha-Lachin road in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Kizybulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, APA's correspondent assigned to Shusha reports.
Bonfires are lit in the area where the protest is taking place.
Currently, eco-activists and young volunteers are chanting slogans like "Azerbaijan is awake, it supports its wealth!"; "Azerbaijan is united, it has its wealth!"; "Stop eco-terror!"; "Save Nature!"; and "No to ecocide! Yes to monitoring!".
Protesters are also singing national songs together.
Note that the action started on December 12.
