A mine incident took place on April 2 in the territory of the Chamanli village of the Aghdam district, which was liberated from occupation, said the Press Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), APA reports.
Nuraddin Feyzi Abbasov, born in 1968 and a resident of Aghdam district, was injured when a landmine exploded while he was grazing animals in the area that had not been cleared of mines, near the former contact line. The injured person was evacuated to the hospital.
An investigation is being conducted by the Aghdam District Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Prosecutor General's Office once again urge citizens to adhere to safety rules, pay attention to mine hazard signs, and avoid entering unfamiliar areas!
