A mine incident took place on April 2 in the territory of the Chamanli village of the Aghdam district, which was liberated from occupation, said the Press Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), APA reports.
Nuraddin Feyzi Abbasov, born in 1968 and a resident of Aghdam district, was injured when a landmine exploded while he was grazing animals in the area that had not been cleared of mines, near the former contact line. The injured person was evacuated to the hospital.
An investigation is being conducted by the Aghdam District Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
