The fire that occurred in a mountainous area near the village of Yanigli, Tovuz region has been extinguished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
During the fire, bushes and hay in 4 hectares of area burned.
The fire was extinguished by the personnel of the fire protection units of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (mainly manual labor was used due to the mountainous terrain).
The nearby forest strip has been protected from fire.
