"It was expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani people, especially President Ilham Aliyev in the Crisis Management Center last day for support in extinguishing the fires in Turkey”, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev said, APA's correspondent sent to Turkey reports.

The deputy minister noted that they have fought shoulder to shoulder against the wildfires with the local firefighters from the first day of arrival: “We have come here not only to extinguish the fire but also to write new friendship and brotherhood page. In all the places we visited, we were shown a special nativeness. We have ancient friendship and brotherhood with Turkey. The National Leader Heydar Aliyev had a crucial role in further strengthening this brotherhood, and now President Ilham Aliyev writes a new page of this brotherhood history. Our activity here has been welcomed with applause and joy by the Turkish state and people. We also thank the Turkish people and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan”.
