On February 5, due to a sharp change in weather conditions, there was a delay in the schedule of a bus operating a regular route from Baku to Shusha, the State Road Transport Service told APA.
The situation was immediately taken under control. Despite the heavy snow and icing of the roads, thanks to the prompt and coordinated activities of the relevant government agencies, as well as the professionalism of the driver, the passengers were delivered to Shusha.
The State Automobile Roads Agency of Azerbaijan, using special equipment, cleared the roads from snow and ice.
The bus was accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Due to a delay in the traffic schedule, the return flight was postponed in order to ensure the safety of passengers.
On the part of the special representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Shusha region and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, passengers were surrounded by special care.
Conditions have been created for their stay in Shusha and subsequent safe return.
