Bone remains belonging to newborn babies were found in the historical monument in Sheki, APA reports.
The remains were found in a historical one-story building located in the territory of "Yukharibash National Historical Architectural Reserve" and currently operating as a "Network Workshop."
During the repair of the concrete floor inside the historic building by the State Tourism Agency, bone remains belonging to 2-3 newborns or minors dated back to 100 years, were discovered at a depth of 0.8 cm - 1.2 meters.
The Sheki District Prosecutor's Office is investigating the fact.
