The border guard in the service territory of the border outpost of the "Horadiz" border detachment of the State Border Service (SBS) Border Troops observed 1 (one) unknown person violating the state border from the Islamic Republic of Iran in the direction of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports citing SBS press service.
As a result of the border search and operational measures, Khalilov Shohrat Ogtay oglu, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, born in 1995, was detained by the border guards while attempting to violate the state border and smuggling 10 kilograms 280 grams of the narcotic drug into the territory of the country.
Operational-investigative measures are underway into the fact.
