According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the rapid rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in Türkiye are continuing the search and rescue operations without interruption, eliminating the consequences of the strong earthquake that occurred in the brotherly country, the Ministry told APA.
As a result of the search and rescue operations carried out by Azerbaijani rescuers in the Kahramanmarash region, which was seriously damaged by the earthquake, brought off 51 people from the rubble alive and the bodies of 518 people and handed them over to the relevant authorities.
