"Our Aviation has spilled 1,404 tonnes of water in total in fire regions of Turkey," Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev said, APA's correspondent sent to Turkey reports.
Mr. Mirzayev noted that 743 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 97 vehicles, 1 helicopter and 1 amphibious aircraft operated in the fire zone: "Our aircraft and helicopter fighted fires around Dalaman Airport, Koycagiz, Chayirova, Yatagan-Yumakli, Menteshe-Kocazag, Milas-Yenikoy, Seyidli-Kemer, Aydin-Akchoava, Antalya-Kash, Burduk-Bucak and Izmir."
The Minister said that the aircraft carying out 98 flightsspilled 837 tons of water, while the helicopter arried out 204 flights and spilled 567.5 tons of water.
