"Azerbaijan sent 3 interstate complaints against Armenia," Deputy Chair of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Chingiz Asgarov says, APA reports.
According to Deputy Chair, two of the mentioned complaints are combined and considered in one proceeding:
“The first main complaint was sent immediately after the war, in January 2021. 6 months later complaint regarding the landmines was sent. The next complaint was sent in late 2022 regarding the criminal acts committed by Armenians in the Zabukh and Sus villages of Lachin city. Proceedings on the last complaint have not yet started. However, the proceedings regarding the first complaint have been started, and the positions of the parties have already been reported to the European Court. We expect the European Court to rule at least this year on the feasibility of this appeal, and we will present our evidence on the merits".
