As a result of intentional homicide, 79 women were affected in 2022, said the video appeal of the Prosecutor General's Office to society, APA reports.
According to the Prosecutor of the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, first-class lawyer Aynur Efendiyeva, physical and psychological violence against women remains as a threat to healthy society: “The biggest obstacle in the fight against violence against women is silence. Do not be complicit in the crime by remaining silent! You are recommended to instantly appeal to law enforcement bodies in case of facing violence against women,” the appeal noted.
