Police solve robbery committed in Baku a month ago

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The robbery committed in Azerbaijan’s capital a month ago has been solved. Baku Main Police Office told APA that it happened outside Inshaatchilar metro station at the beginning of December. Unknown men attacked on Baku resident Alima Mursal Rustamova, 39. They pushed her into a BMW, beat her and broke her teeth. They threatened the woman with a knife, took AZN 700 from her bag, her passport, her child’s identity card and a gold ring. They left the woman in the place called Gum adasi in Hovsan settlement. As a result of the operations carried out by Surakhany district police office, Zaur Agamammad Malikov, 27, was detained and held accountable. It was found out that Malikov committed the crime in his Toyota, not in BMW. Surakhany district police office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 180 (robbery) of the Criminal Code. Investigation is underway.
