Strong wind causes problem in Azerbaijanâ€™s western Regions

The wind blew from 16.00 till midnight on January 9 . Shahmali Javadov, Deputy Chairman of Ganja executive Power told APA western bureau that the roof of building #10 in fifth Microdistrict fell because of strong wind. The roof fell on car marked VAZ -2107 and injured baggage of the car. The roof of Azerbaijan Technology University, IDPs settled in it , became worthless as a result of cyclone . The cyclone cut trees and electric lines in five sites. There was problem on electricity supply in six various places of the city from 03.00 on January 10.
Seven villages of Shamkir Region were left without electricity as a result of cyclone . Shamir Power Delivery Station said that it caused problem on electricity supply and the problems were solved and electricity supply was restored in several settlements.
Electricity was cut in the aftermath of falling of tree on transformer in Koshku village of Goygol Region. Moreover, Uctepe and Hajimalik villages were also left without electricity.
