Initial cause of blast in polling station #20 made public

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. The details of the blast occurred in the polling station #20 of ConEC #24 of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Nizami district are known. Experts investigating the site told APA that the administrative building had no gas line, but the investigations found out that there was a gas line 10m away from the polling station. Experts also determined that there was a disposal line 1.5m deep under the building. According to the initial reports, gas leaked into the building through the disposal line. Experts of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue investigating the site.

Blast occurred in the polling station #20 of ConEC #24 of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Nizami district at 11.30 this morning. Chairman of the polling station Valiyev Aydin Mammadkhan received slight burns. He was taken to hospital #5. The blast caused serious damage on the building of the polling station.
