Inspector: Imprudence more likely caused the blast in Binagadi district

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Criminal case has not been launched on the blast occurred in Binagadi settlement, 1st Meden Street, Apt. 16. Inspector of Binagadi district prosecutorâ€™s office Nizami Gurbanov told APA that the fact was being investigated. Gurbanov noted that gas leak caused the blast. He said criminal case had not been launched on the fact, as imprudence more likely caused the blast. Inspector underlined that the investigation was underway and the final decision would be passed after the investigation.

Strong blast occurred in Binagadi settlement, 1st Meden Street, Apt. 16 at 7.00 this morning. Mikayil Huseynov, 57, his wife Zarifa Huseynova, 56, his daughter Elnara Huseynova, 30, Huseynovâ€™s son-in-law Ziya Hasanzadeh, 31, and Hasanzadehâ€™s wife Laman Hasanzadeh were injured. Ziya Hasanzadeh was taken to the resuscitation department of Clinic Medical Center. The center told APA that he is in critical condition.

Mikayil Huseynov and his wife were taken to the burns unit of Hospital #5, the other two were slightly injured and discharged after receiving medical aid.
