Sabunchu District Police Office staff detained Mahmudova Kamala Anvar, 44 when she tried to sell false diploma on January 7. Mahmudova is working in the Computer Information Technologies Institute. She agreed with buyer to meet in Nizami District and met there police officers. She acknowledged that she sold false diplomas. During the investigation it was clarified that her former student Aliyev Gabil Mahammad, 36, helped her. Both were arrested in 2001 for analogical criminal case.
Police office launched investigation under article 320.1 (Fake of certificate or other official document giving the rights or releasing from duties, with a view of its use) of the Criminal Code.
