The press service told APA that prosecuting bodies had carried out investigations and found out that the accidents occurred as people used home-made gas stoves, stoves were not linked to the gas line properly, gas lines were out of order in houses, smoke ducts were not installed properly or were not cleared.
The statement says that notification has been sent to Azerigaz CSC to ensure the role of media in observing safety rules and take other prophylactic measures in order to eliminate irregularities in gas supply and production, their causes, consider the responsibility of the guilty employees of the bodies realizing state control over gas supply and take relevant measures about the consumers violating these rules.
