The court does not ensure suit on re-opening of Abu Bakr mosque

Representative of the police office didnâ€™t attend the court session chaired by Judge Turgay Huseynov. Representative of the believersâ€™ community Abuzar Mutallimov accused the Narimanov District Police Office in a lack of experience and said restriction on the mosqueâ€™s activity was against the international conventions and the constitution. Then the court members left for consultations.

After the consultations, Judge Turgay Huseynov read the court decision, which did not ensure the suit filed by the Narimanov District Believers Community against the Narimanov District Police Office. Lawyer of the believersâ€™ community Javanshir Suleymanov said they would appeal the court decision.

The believersâ€™s community filed a suit against the police office concerning the re-opening of the Abu Bakr mosque.
