Final decision on reconstruction of blasted building to be passed soon

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov-APA. Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov arrived at the site, where the building blasted in Nizami District, Arrahman Hasanov, Chairman of Commission on Emergency Situations told APA.
Hasanov stated that the Deputy Prime Minister had debated several issues at the site and final decision on reconstruction of building would be passed soon. According to the decision of the Cabinet, AZN 300-500 were allocated to each host to rent a flat.
Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Baku Prosecutor’s Office, and Commission on Emergency Situations are investigating the case.
Two blocks of the building blasted as a result of gas leak in the 27th flat in 34 Street Nakhchivansky, Nizami District on December 13. The explosion killed 3, injured 5.
Baku Prosecutor’s Office has launched criminal case under Article 222.2 (Infringement of safety rules on conducting building, mountain or other activities on imprudence brought to death of a victim or other serious consequences) of the Criminal Code.
