19,493 crimes recorded in Azerbaijan in January-November this year

Baku – APA. 19,493 crimes (224 crimes per 100,000) were recorded in Azerbaijan in January-November, State Statistical Committee told APA. 214 of the crimes were related to premeditated murder and attempt on life, 379 to human trafficking, 210 deliberate serious bodily harm, 19 to kidnapping (16 of them for the purpose of marry). 313 of the recorded crimes were committed by foreign citizens (129 of them by the citizens of CIS states).
71.5% of the recorded crimes have been solved. 13% of the solved crimes were committed by ex-prisoners, 11.4% by a group of persons, 3.8% by drunken people, 3.1% by juveniles or with their participation, 2.6% by drug addicts or persons under the influence of drugs.
12,545 out of 16,218 wrongdoers found out in January-November were held accountable. 81.8% of them were able-bodied people, but not working or studying anywhere, 14.2% women, 9.1% ex-prisoners and 2.7% juveniles.
10,193 people suffered from the crimes. 56.9% of them were men and 43.1 were women.
